Music is the art of combining vocal and instrumental sounds to produce beauty of form, harmony, and expression of emotion.
My philosophy of teaching music is based on the importance of role of Singing and Instrumental Music in our culture. Music present in many aspects of our lives: theater, television, movies, holidays, celebrations and ignites all areas of child development and skills for school readiness, including intellectual, social-emotional, motor, language, and overall literacy.
The general goal of all classes is to make music a natural part of kids everyday life and create musical experiences that can actually influence their aestetic perception of the world and help body and mind work together.
Students of all grades will Sing, Play, Create, Listen music of all styles and genres, as well as Respond to it and make Authentic Connections in every lesson and final Performances.

Warm-ups for 3rd/4th grades can be found under “General Music” category, whereas 5th/6th grade warm-ups are under the “Choir” category.
